HEBRON – The wedding of Megan Elise Boyd and Derrick David Laflamme was held at 4 p.m. on June 10 at Hebron Academy Chapel in Hebron. The Rev. Anita White officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Laflamme is the daughter of Lloyd and Debra Boyd Jr. of Poland. Mr. Laflamme is the son of Marcel and Sylvia Laflamme of Auburn.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore an Italian satin strapless gown with Alencon lace and bead overlay, A-line skirt with semi-Cathedral train edged with lace border. She carried a bouquet of green and white hydrangea, white Calla lilies, ivy from the grandfather of the bride, wrapped with his handkerchief.
Matrons of honor were Emily Francis and Ashley Reutershan, friends. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Boyd, niece, Carrie Boyd, sister-in-law, Heidi Hickman, cousin, and Meg Crossman, Clarissa Altvater and Jessica Laroche, friends. Emma Boyd, cousin, and Harley Lausier, cousin, were flower girls.
Best men were Ryan Laflamme, brother, and Nick Bolduc, friend. Ushers were Troy Boyd, Toby Boyd and Matthew Boyd, brothers-in-law, and Jeff Bryant, Rob Finch and Chris Johnson, friends.
A reception followed at Lost Valley Lodge in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to the Dominican Republic. They are residing in Poland.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Hebron Academy and attended the University of Maine, majoring in criminology. She is employed at Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute.
The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Edward Little High School and attended the University of Maine, majoring in mechanical engineering.
