LEWISTON – The wedding of Katherine M. Infante and Victor H. Carey was held at noon on July 1 at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. The Rev. Robert Lariviere officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Carey is the daughter of the late John Singer and Katherine Staiano. Mr. Carey is the son of Bruce and Viviann Ritchie of Auburn.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her son, John Infante of New Haven, Conn. She wore a long straight gown and carried a bouquet of white roses, made by her mother-in-law.

Joyce Ritchie, sister-in-law, was maid of honor, and Marella Carey, stepdaughter, was flower girl.

David Smith, family friend, performed the duties of best man.

A reception followed at the home of the parents of the bridegroom.

The bride is a graduate of East Haven High School and is employed at Dunkin Donuts on Main Street in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Edward Little High School and is self-employed.
