After classes at the Mallett School had been canceled for the day due to boiler problems, Gavin and his mom Kathleen moved wood from their woodpile, and Gavin talked about his Halloween costume. “I’ve got the teeth, and I’m going to paint my face white,” he said of his vampire costume. “We’ve been watching all the old (Halloween) movies from the 1950s,” Kathleen explained.
