1. I want to continue making a positive difference in my constituents’ lives.

2. To continue working on lowering taxes for our working men and women and our senior citizens.

3. TABOR could force budget cuts in nearly a third of Maine school systems, municipal services and state-funded programs. The fiscal process on all levels will be shifted to minority control, requiring two-thirds votes for even seperate line items in many budgets. I will be casting my vote against TABOR.

4. I believe social issues, such as anti-discrimination legislation and abortion, are very important to some and meaning less to others. I do not discriminate against anyone and my personal belief is pro-life.

5. I believe Dirigo Health works fairly well right now, considering the short time in has been in law. Dirigo covers many more people than the high risk pools that we tried in the late 80s early 90s. I would like take the administrative control away from Blue Cross and give it to the state. This would save a lot of money and put more people in the program.
