Church luncheon
FARMINGTON – The Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11. The menu will include Stan’s American chop suey, tossed salad, garlic bread and apple crisp. Delivery service will be available in the Farmington area. Call the church office at 778-0424 during the week or the church kitchen at 778-4438 on the morning of the luncheon for meal delivery.
Holiday fair
RANGELEY – The annual holiday fair hosted by the Episcopal Church Women will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, in the church undercroft.
Luncheon will be served at 11:30 a.m. and will feature homemade pea soup, beef stew, egg salad, hot dogs and apple crisp and lemon meringue pie. Pea soup may also be purchased at the food table.
Tables will offer Christmas crafts and gifts, baked goods, “what not” items and a cookie walk. The Et Cetera Shop will be open.
Scout meetings
TURNER – Girl Scouts of Kennebec Council will hold parent information and registration meetings on the following dates and places:
Turner: Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 6:30 p.m., Turner Elementary School; Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 6:30 p.m., Turner Primary School.
Leeds: Monday, Dec. 4, at 6:30 p.m., Leeds Central School.
Greene: Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m., Greene Central School.
Parents will have the opportunity to learn about Girl Scout activities in the community, as well as volunteer options available for adults. The registration fee is $10, payable by check. Financial assistance is available.
Girl Scouts of Kennebec Council provides programs for more than 10,000 girls ages 5 to 17 in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Franklin, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Sagadahoc, Somerset and York counties.

Craft fair
TEMPLE – The 26th annual Temple Craft Fair, sponsored by the Temple Fire Auxiliary, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Temple Town Hall.
There will be 27 tables of handcrafted gifts. Homemade pies, bread, lunches and snacks will be available for sale to benefit the Temple Volunteer Fire Department.
Auxiliary fair
FARMINGTON – The American Legion Auxiliary 28 will host its annual holiday craft fair and luncheon from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at the post home. There will be two floors of crafts and a luncheon menu. Table space is available. Call Katie Hallman at 778-4720.
