PARIS – The Hamlin Memorial Library and Museum, located in the old Oxford County granite jail on Paris Hill, will close for the season on Saturday, Nov. 18.

The library will be open only on Saturdays, Nov. 11 and 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registered library users may borrow materials for the winter, returning them when the library reopens in May. The museum is already closed for the season.

The library’s association of members will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the library. Business will include electing board members and officers for the following year and reviewing the institution’s progress over 2006.

The public is invited to attend.
