Church fair

FARMINGTON – The Trinity United Methodist Women of Farmington are preparing for their annual Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18. There will also be a turkey and biscuit meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Route 2, east of Farmington.

The fair will offer a variety of gifts. On hand will be Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations, needlework, knitted goods, handmade gifts, plants, baked goods and candy, jams, jellies and relishes. There will also be a cookie walk.

All proceeds will be directed to projects focusing on women and children, the mission emphasis of the United Methodist Women.

Holiday pie sale

FARMINGTON – The Episcopal Church Women of St. Luke’s will hold their annual Thanksgiving pie sale from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Twice Sold Tales Bookstore, Main Street. Traditional holiday pies will be available, but most varieties of pies can be ordered by calling 778-0169 or 645-4195.
