LEWISTON – Susan Olson Gwozdz, executive director of WorkMed Occupational Health, Rehabilitation and Prevention and Wellness Programs for Sisters of Charity Health Systems in Lewiston, has earned board certification in health care management. She has also been named a diplomate of the American College of Healthcare Executives, an international professional society representing close to 30,000 health care executives.
To earn board certification, candidates must demonstrate their commitment to continuing education, progression in professional experience, and participation in voluntary health care and community affairs. They must also successfully complete comprehensive written examinations covering subjects related to health care management.
Gwozdz will now be privileged to use the letters CHE for Certified Healthcare Executive after her name in all professional communications, indicating that she is board certified in health care management and an ACHE Diplomate.
She is a resident of Gorham.
