SOMERSWORTH, N.H. – The wedding of Sara Michelle Riendeau and Wallace Grey Newman II was held on Sept. 9 at First Parish United Church of Christ in Somersworth, N.H. The Rev. Mark Rideout officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Newman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Riendeau of Berwick and the granddaughter of Rolande Griffin of Lewiston and Sibyl Stevens of Eustis. Mr. Newman is the son of Drs. Wallace and Norma Newman of Gun Barrel City, Texas.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless Cinderella style gown and carried a bouquet of white and pink roses, hydrangea center and trailing ivy.

Maria Zopf, friend of the bride, attended as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Marie Doung and Jennifer Whitten, friends of the bride. Jocelyn Stevens, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

Jeremy Coker, friend of the bridegroom, was best man, and ushers were Ryan Riendeau, cousin of the bride and Timothy Whitten, friend of the bride. Jedediah Stevens, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Rochester Country Club in Rochester, N.H.

The bride is a graduate of Noble High School in Berwick and is employed as front desk supervisor at the Hilton Inn.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Mabank High School in Texas and is serving with the U.S. Navy, stationed in Norfolk, Va.
