BETHEL – The Friends of Telstar parent group has announced the return of the annual Telstar Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Telstar Middle/High School, Route 26.

A sample of the items for sale include minerals, jewelry, knit goods, balsa wood roses, customized ornaments (bring a favorite photo), professional photography, fossils, baskets, children’s books, herbal products, quilts, dolls and doll clothing, stuff-your-own animals, bird houses and other wooden items, balsam pillows, stockings, pottery, toys, cross stitch, pillows,wreaths, March of Dime beanies and student crafts.

There will be student groups, balloons and face painting for the kids, a bake sale and a raffle table with items and gift certificates donated by crafters, businesses and Telstar families.

Funds raised through table rentals, raffles and the bake sale will benefit Telstar students with activities, special events and scholarships.

Telstar will also host the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of Bethel and theme wreath silent auction events from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2.
