NORWAY – The Health Information Library at Stephens Memorial Hospital will host a nutrition open house from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 30, in the library at the Ripley Medical Building. Registered Dietitian Pat Watson will be on hand to answer general nutrition questions. Healthy snacks will also be provided.

The open house will give attendees a chance to ask questions of the dietitian and learn general information about cholesterol, carbohydrates, triglycerides and vegetarian diets.

Watson will also address questions regarding eating disorders, the new food pyramid and how to get more calcium into a diet.

The Health Information Library is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and is staffed by a professional librarian to provide patients, students and the public with the quality health information they need to make good health decisions.
