LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Nov. 6 with 37 members present. Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and the men and women in the Armed Forces.

Mary Groleau led in singing “Come Thou Almighty King.” The sick list included Lorraine Ellingwood, Christine Harlow, Emile Richards, Pat Couture and Norman Duguay. A guest, Jeanne Oakes, was present.

A thank-you card was received from the Androscoggin Home and Health Care for a recent donation.

The Scottish Rite Masons will serve a free holiday meal at the Mt. Blue High School cafeteria from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thanksgiving, Nov. 23. Anyone who is homebound can have a meal delivered by call 779-0681.

SeniorsPlus will also serve a Thanksgiving meal at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21. They have scheduled a trip to the “Stars on Ice” show on March 24. More information will be available at a later date.
