BETHEL – Medicare beneficiaries who need to make changes in their Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage can make plan changes through Dec. 31. Those who are newly eligible for Medicare can enroll in a plan.
SeniorsPlus will hold an enrollment assistance clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at the Bethel library. Preregistration for an appointment is necessary by calling 1-800-427-1241 or 795-4010.
SeniorsPlus will help seniors explore alternative prescription drug plan options if they found themselves in the coverage gap, the current plan is changing or the list of drugs has changed, they did not choose a plan during last year’s open enrollment period, they are newly eligible for Medicare or they would like to compare costs between plans.
SeniorsPlus is the area agency on aging serving Androscoggin, Oxford and Franklin counties. SeniorsPlus is located at 8 Falcon Road, Lewiston.
