NORWAY – Herbert J. Plourde, 72, died Monday, Nov. 20, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Van Buren on Nov. 19, 1934, the son of O’Neil and Simone (Violette) Plourde. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and was a cook at the former Pineland Center before his retirement.

He is survived by one brother, Roger, and his wife, Constance, one sister, Anne Plourde, all of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one sister, Laura Caron in 2004.
