POLAND – Gregory and Doris Herrick of Poland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Angela Herrick of Buxton, to Donald Bordeaux of Buxton, son of Douglas and Denise Bordeaux of Gorham.

Miss Herrick is a 1996 graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Southern Maine, where she received a bachelor’s degree in geography and anthropology. She is currently working toward her master’s degree in leadership studies at Lewiston-Auburn College at the University of Southern Maine. She is a research analyst at the Cutler Institute for Child and Family Policy at USM’s Muskie School of Public Service in Portland.

Mr. Bordeaux is a 1995 graduate of Gateway Regional High School in Huntington, Mass., and is a veteran senior airman and structures specialist with the U.S. Air Force. He is currently a kitchen designer at the Home Depot in Portland.

A September wedding is planned at the home of the couple in Buxton.
