AUBURN – The wedding of Michelle Christina Irwin and Jesse Barry Michaud was held at 2 p.m. on May 27 in an outdoor ceremony at Martindale Country Club in Auburn. Diane Beckim, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Michaud is the daughter of Larry and MaryEllen Irwin of Auburn. Mr. Michaud is the son of Terry and Belinda Michaud of St. Francis.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a white strapless satin gown featuring a lightly embroidered bodice, wrapped waist and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white and yellow daisies, yellow roses and stephanotis.
Denise Elwell, friend of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Katherine Erb and Jenna Morgan, friends of the bride. Madison Michaud, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Justin Michaud served as best man for his twin brother, and ushers were Andrew Willihan and Joseph Anderson, friends of the bridegroom. Conner Michaud, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
The bride entered to a song written by her father, and readers during the ceremony were Denise Corriveau, sister of the bridegroom, and Jason Irwin, brother of the bride.
A reception followed at Martindale Country Club. The couple’s honeymoon was postponed. They are residing in Auburn and are both employed at the Margaret Murphy Center for Children in Lewiston.
The bride is a graduate of Edward Little High School and the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is a graduate student at the University of Southern Maine, L-A College, in the master of occupational therapy program.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Fort Kent Community High School and the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation services. He plans to pursue a master’s degree in occupational therapy.
