Scripture study

AUBURN – The “Infancy Narratives,” a four-week program of the Little Rock Scripture Study, will be offered from 6:30 to 8 p.m. beginning Thursday, Nov. 30, at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall below the church.

The study is a continuation of the Catholic Scripture Studies that have been offered since the fall of 2005 in the Lewiston-Auburn clusters of parishes. The series is usually offered during the Advent season as an additional means of spiritual preparation for the birth of Christ. The narratives of Matthew and Luke will be the focus of the study.

There are a limited number of study sets available, and more will be ordered after the first class if necessary. Open enrollment begins on a first-come, first-served basis at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Registration fee is $10 to cover the cost of study materials. Groups of friends and family are encouraged to register and form study groups. For more information, contact Denise Mailhot at 786-3380 evenings.
