Operation Santa
FARMINGTON – Operation Santa Claus will celebrate the season as Santa’s Helpers will give away hot cocoa and candy canes on Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Farmington Wal-Mart entrances. Operation Santa Claus will also have its giving tree on display.
Financial aid
FARMINGTON – A financial aid information presentation for the parents of Mt. Blue High School seniors will be given at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, in the Mt. Blue High School library.
Ron Milliken, director of financial aid at the University of Maine at Farmington, will present information on the financial aid application process, types and sources of financial aid and will answer questions. For more information, call the Mt. Blue High School guidance office at 778-3561, ext. 4712.
Monday Club
FARMINGTON – The Monday Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at the Pierce House, Main Street. The program in be “Celebrating Christmas” with an appearance by the Mt. Blue Syncopations. Refreshments will be provided by Liz Marks, Anne Marie DeCosta, Margaret Ronald, Pat Durham, Ann Craig and Lucille Weymouth.
