FARMINGTON – W.G. Mallett School will hold its 15th annual “Helping Hands” food pass on Thursday, Dec. 7. Students will begin forming a line from Mallett School to the Farmington Community Center at 9 a,m. The food pass will be held from 9:15 to 10:15.

Cascade Brook students will walk to the Community Center to deliver their food.

Students are asked to bring dry and canned goods or personal items from home. The food will be passed along the line from child to child. After the food is passed, children will see the many boxes of collected food, which is then transported to the Care and Share Food Closet.

The project is made possible by the volunteers who give their time. Parents and community members are invited to join the food pass or make a donation. For more information, contact Pauline Rodrigue at 778-3707.
