NORWAY – Marion Gladys Dexter, 81, of West Paris, died Saturday, Dec. 2, at Stephens Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born in South Paris on Dec. 5, 1924, the daughter of the late Irwin W. and Lila G. (Proctor) Ellingwood and was educated in West Paris schools.
Marion worked for many years as a CNA, loved to hunt and play cards (she cheated), and the love of her life was her children.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Wayne Dexter of Solon and Wilbert E. “Pete” Dexter of Grafton, Va.; six daughters, Nancy Trudeau and Paula Huff, both of Lexington, Rispah Huff and Jo-Ann Jack, both of Strong, Pearl Baiko of Warrensville, N.C., and Judith Rowe of Lisbon Falls; one brother, David Ellingwood of Eustis; one sister, Frances Haney of West Paris; 18 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; and two sons, Rodney P. Dexter and Bernard Dexter Jr.
