BETHEL – “Bellydance engages the entire body from head to toe, making it a fun and healthy choice for exercise,” said Janet Willie, LMT. Willie will present a workshop on the art of bellydance from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Gehring House, Broad Street. Anyone interested in learning more about bellydance is invited to attend the free workshop.

Willie has been teaching bellydance since 1998 at classes in Bethel and Rumford. She has studied the dance form with a variety of teachers from around the country. A practicing massage therapist for the past 15 years, her teaching is supported by an education in movement theory and anatomy and physiology.

The workshop is part of the fall “To Your Health” series sponsored by Western Mountains Senior College and SAD 44 Community Education in collaboration with the Bethel Family Health Center. For more information, call 824-2053 or 824-8610.
