AUBURN – Priscilla Alden Rote, 88, of Leeds, died Sunday, Dec. 3, at Clover Health Care.

She was born in Leeds, May 23, 1918, the daughter of John and Charlotte (Baker) Alden. She graduated from Monmouth Academy in 1935, and from the Auburn Maine School of Commerce in 1937.

She was very proud to be a direct descendent of John and Priscilla (Mullins) Alden, who came to America on the Mayflower in 1620.

She worked as controller in the family business, Twin City Printery in Lewiston, for 35 years.

She leaves three children, Joan Logan, and husband, Donald, of York, Lee Ann Endicott, and husband, Thomas, of Cleveland, Tenn., and Steven Rote, and wife, Carmen, of Mansfield, Conn.; a loving sister, Irene Alden of Brunswick; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, John; and a daughter, Ronda Rote.

A graveside service will be held in the spring.
