LEWISTON – After researching Web site trends, design methods and computer software, United Way of Androscoggin County has created and launched a new and improved Web site.

Adam Caron, director of marketing and special projects, and Jennifer Thomas, director of development, both of United Way of Androscoggin County, and Tammie Grieshaber, volunteer Web designer, created the new site using Dreamweaver 8 software. They were able to launch the site for the public on Dec. 4.

The new site is easy to navigate, which will make searching the site faster. Improvements include a new look, downloadable files about United Way’s campaign, information on “The Opportunity to Shine” summer camp scholarship program, 2-1-1 resources, success stories, up-to-date event information and an online donation page.

United Way of Androscoggin County is encouraging everyone to search through the site. If anyone would like to contribute to United Way, they may make a donation through the new online donation page.
