ORONO – Tony Morrone scored the unassisted game-winning goal at 2:29 in overtime to lift the Unversity of Maine to a 3-2 win over New Brunswick in hockey action Wednesday night.

Teddy Purcell and Bret Tyler each scored in the first period for Maine (9-3-1). Goaltender Dave Wilson registered 27 saves to preserve the win.

William Johnston and Lachlan MacIntosh scored a goal a piece for New Brunswick (10-5-0).
