LEWISTON – A surprise party was held on Nov. 4 for Paul Roger and Rita Lemay of Lewiston on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. Party hosts were Travis Lemay and girlfriend, Gina Goyette, Kevin Lemay and Angel Lemay.
The Rev. Frank Murray officiated at the renewal of vows, and their children presented them with a new set of wedding rings. Flower and table arrangements were made by Gloria Delano and her daughter, Terri Leger. The hall was decorated by Mrs. Lemay’s sisters, Jacqueline Leger and Rachel Gagne. Music was provided by Brian Soucy and toastmaster was Travis Lemay. Kevin and Angel Lemay had charge of the guest book.
Mr. Lemay and the former Rita Lanois were married on Nov. 6, 1981, at Holy Family Church in Lewiston.
They have three children, Travis, Kevin and Angel Lemay.
Mr. Lemay is retired and is a member of the Maine Franco-American Genealogical Society. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Normand Lemay of Lewiston.
Mrs. Lemay is employed as a medical technician at d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston. She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Romeo Lanois.
Original wedding attendants present were Marcel Lemay, Tricia Giard, James Lachapelle, Jerry Leger and Rachel Gagne.
