LEWISTON – Those in need of assistance with a health or social service related issue, 2-1-1 is the number to dial. 2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember phone number and Web site, www.211maine.org, that connects individuals to comprehensive vital health and social service information and resources.

2-1-1 is a national movement and Maine has become the 15th state in the country to offer 24/7 statewide 2-1-1 services. The key partners that made the development of 2-1-1 Maine possible include all 10 United Ways in Maine, Ingraham and the state.
