AUGUSTA – Two students from St. Dominic Regional High School participated in the 45th annual U.S. Senate Youth State finalist program on Nov. 17. Seniors Chelsea St. Onge-May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ethan St. Onge-May of Bridgton, and Samuel Inman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Inman of Albion, qualified by taking a current-events and political history test.

The top 12 students from around the state met at the Augusta Civic Center and participated in daylong events ranging from speech writing to debates.

At the end of the day, the judges decided that the two slots for a $5,000 scholarship and a trip to Washington, D.C. would be awarded to Chelsea and Sam. St. Dom’s will be represented by the students from March 3 to 10.
