FARMINGTON – Manny arrived at the Franklin County Animal Shelter on June 28. Manny is a sidekick, said shelter staff. Like all sidekicks, he’s good company.

He likes attention, and he also likes his solitude. He doesn’t go looking for trouble, but he’s no scaredy-cat, either, said staff. He cannot go to a home with dogs.

A recent pet of the week, Ivan, has finally found a home. The dog arrived at the shelter on Dec. 23, 2005. He was adopted on Dec. 15, 2006.

Manny is a flavor of the months, gray grape. The adoption fee is $35 for all gray cats. For more information on adoption, call the shelter at 778-2638.
