LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Dec. 18, with 30 members present. A short meeting was held, at which time Chairwoman Shirley Couture said two former members, Annette Fournier and Clifford Sawyer, had died and condolences were extended.

The sick list includes Emile Richards, Lorraine Ellingwood and Veronica Blanchard.

Couture reminded members about the free Christmas Day meal that would be served at the American Legion Hall on Dec. 25. December birthdays are those of Betty Green, Marilyn Desoto, Mary Potter, Shirley Toncer and Naomi Teixeira.

Cards and games were played during the afternoon. Members brought snacks that were served with coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

The group will return for weekly meetings on Monday, Jan. 8, at which time a Chinese auction will be held and members can bring whatever they wish, food or otherwise.
