LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial for Lionel Cote was held Tuesday at Holy Cross Church with the Rev. Daniel Greenleaf celebrating the Mass. During Mass readings were by sisters-in-law, Kim and Louise Cote. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Mr. and Mrs. Roland Martel, and words of remembrance were shared by Lionel’s son, Paul Cote. Pallbearers were Tim Cougle, Ricky Sturgis, Robert Fortin, Tom Cote, Guy Basselet and Allen Kirouac. A reception of fellowship followed the Mass at the Carriage House in Lewiston. Burial with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road., Augusta. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home.
