BURLINGTON, Vt. – Marie E. Hunnewell, 39, of New Gloucester, died unexpectedly, Dec. 31, after heart-related issues. She will be dearly remembered by her family and friends for her endless love and devotion to those around her.
She brought joy to so many people through her extensive work with charitable foundations. Before her decline in health she loved to be outdoors hiking, scuba diving, snowmobiling and trying any other adventure she could conquer. Her love for animals was shown through years of wildlife rehabilitation and animal rescues. When there was time to spare she enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking, but her passion was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Jeffrey Hunnewell; by her daughter, Jessica; her son, Max; her sister, Joyce Chapman; brother-in-law, Stan Chapman; sister, Karen Bradshaw; and nephew, Troy Bradshaw.
