LEWISTON – Team Air Force extended its lead in the B-1 Division of the Lewiston Rec Coed Volleyball League at the Multi-Purpose Center Wednesday, sweeping 3 games from Rowe Builders, 21-6, 21-13, 21-13.

Second place Team Keller won 2 of 3 against Strout CPA, 21-9, 12-21, 21-19; Maine Commercial Door/Buddy T’s swept Ducharme Masonry, 21-13, 21-14, 21-13; Mountain Road RV took 3 from Levesque Excavation, 21-13, 21-19, 21-13; South of the Border grabbed 2 from Marston Logging, 21-16, 21-14, 20-22; and GE captured 2 from Downeast Pension, 21-14, 16-21, 21-13.

League officials report that Levesque Excavation had to forfeit its win over GE last week, so the Excavators remain winless.

In the A Division Thursday, Bio-Processing took 2 of 3 hotly-contested games from CWT Builders, 27-29, 25-22, 25-21; and Peru+2 grabbed 2 from Motley Crew, 25-18, 25-27, 25-22.

B-2 Division

In Thursday’s matches in the B-2 Division, Spiked & Dangerous took 2 from league leader Janet McCarthy, Realty, 18-21, 21-11, 21-11; Maher Builders won 3 by forfeit over E.J. Drywall; and Fontaine Team swept Deadline Busters, 21-19, 21-15, 21-18.
