AUBURN – Ramona R. Rock, 71, of 22 Moore Drive, Sabattus, died Saturday, Jan. 6, at the Hospice House with her family by her side after a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on June 14, 1935, the daughter of Antonia Celani Sr. and Marienna (Marcoux) Celani.

Ramona was educated in Lewiston Schools. She made moccasins at home.

In 1978, she moved to Bristol, Conn., and worked as a waitress. In 1991, she moved back to Maine and married her husband, Robert, on July 21, 1991.

She enjoyed her flower garden, beano and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Robert of Sabattus; three daughters, Diane Ingrisano of Port Charlotte, Fla., Sandra Collins and husband, Paul, and Suzanne Pettengill and fiancé, Bill, all of Turner; son, Donald Giguere and fiancée, Tammy Kelley, of Turner; five step-daughters, Cheryl Testa and husband, Jeff, of Bristol, Conn., Terry Bates and husband, Chris, of Long Island, N.Y., Lisa Ochsner and husband, Russ, of Syracuse, N.Y., Karen Rock of Gastonia, N.C., and Mindy Martinez and husband, Ed, of Charlotte, N.C.; sisters, Louisa Gendron and husband, Richard, of Manchester, N.H., Marietta Wyman of Lewiston, Evelina Pouzol of Lewiston, and Stella Truchon and husband, Armand, of Sabattus; brother, Antonio Celani Jr. and companion, Jenny, of Lisbon; 12 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; and an infant son, Raymond.
