NORWAY – The service at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, at the First Universalist Church, 479 Main St., will be led by Dr. Ken Hamilton. Child care will be provided.

Seeking talent

OXFORD – The Oxford Congregational Church is looking for local talent for a free talent show to be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13. Anyone who would like to sing, play, dance or recite may register by calling Lois Witham evenings at 346-3511. Refreshments will be sold.

4-H enrollment

PARIS – Four-H re-enrollment for the year 2007 has now been completed throughout the state. For those wishing to re-enroll for 2007, enrollment ended as of Dec. 31.

However, enrollment for new members is open, so anyone wishing to enroll for the first time in the 4-H program can still join a 4-H club or as an independent member.

The county program is one of the largest in the state and offers a variety of projects for youth, ranging from arts and crafts, woodworking, cooking and sewing to livestock, travel and community service.

Donates items

WOODSTOCK – Curator Larry Billings has given many small art prints to the Woodstock Historical Society. Some were in a book on the Renaissance. The four other books covering the whole of art history he donated intact. He said he has many large prints he will give as soon as he finds a way to display them.
