BANGOR – Rumford native Arthur Fuller, retired president of Bowater Newsprint, has been elected chairman of the Husson College trustees.

The Husson alumnus served as executive vice president of Bowater as well as president of Bowater’s Newsprint Division. Prior to joining Bowater, he served as vice president of finance, planning and administration of MacMillan Bloedel Inc. From 1991 to 1993 he was a partner in NuKraft, a recycled linerboard “mini mill” project. He began his career as a cost analyst at International Paper.

Fuller replaces W. Tom Sawyer, who is completing a three-year term.
