CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – The second half of a two-man bank robbing team of brothers has pleaded guilty in federal court and faces up to 24 years in prison.
Travis Blodgett decided to join his brother, Avery Blodgett, in pleading guilty to 10 bank robberies, one of them at gunpoint. Travis Blodgett also pleaded guilty on Wednesday to trying to break out of the Strafford County jail in October.
Avery Blodgett entered his plea last month. He faces up to 21 years.
Both are scheduled for sentencing in April.
The Blodgett brothers grew up in Concord but more recently were living in Sweden, Maine, where they were arrested last year.
They robbed banks in throughout southern New Hampshire and the Lakes Region from November 2005 to January of last year.
