Mary Blais received a master’s degree in liberal arts and sciences with a concentration in creative writing from San Diego State University in May 2006. She is a 1997 graduate of Jay High School, and an alumni of the University of Maine in Orono class of 2001. She is the daughter of Roger and Theresa Blais of Jay. Blais is a published author and cartoonist.
