Livermore Falls – Lorraine A. Ellingwood, 80, a resident of Free Street in Livermore Falls, died Thursday, Jan. 11, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on Nov. 10, 1926, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Honore and Georgiana (Chicoine) Bilodeau and attended Livermore Falls High School. On July 14, 1947, she married Walter Ellingwood at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. She worked at Livermore Shoe Co. in Livermore Falls for 30 years, retiring in 1987.

She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay and enjoyed knitting, quilting and playing beano.

She is survived by her husband, Walter of Livermore Falls; two sons and their wives, Bill and Jo-Ann Ellingwood of Tampa, Fla., and Ken and Cindy Ellingwood of Fayette; two daughters, Judith Mann of Ft. Fairfield and Patricia Gordon of Jay; a brother, Norman Bilodeau, and his wife, Bernice, of Livermore Falls and Cocoa Beach, Fla.; a sister, Jeannette Hartford of Auburn; grandchildren, Laurie Spooner, Cory Mann, Caren Laplante, Shaun Ellingwood, Todd Ellingwood, Mandi Lewis, Abby McPheters and Eric Ellingwood; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brothers, Walter, Leo, Maurice and Ovila Bilodeau; and a sister, Loretta Eaton.
