DURHAM – Two drivers escaped apparent injury in a two-truck crash on Route 125 early Tuesday morning.

Maine State Police Trooper Eric Paquette said Michael Poto, 43, was driving a Verizon utility truck south up a hill on Route 125 when a “possible medical condition” caused him to lose control of the truck, which veered to the left and rolled over in the oncoming lane.

His vehicle was struck by a truck driven by 58-year-old Dorrance Marstaller of Durham.

Poto was not believed to have been injured, Paquette said, but was taken by Durham Fire and Rescue to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Damage was estimated at $8,000 to the 2000 GMC Verizon truck and at $5,000 to Marstaller’s 2003 Ford pickup in the 8:10 a.m. crash.
