LISBON – Lisbon Community School will participate in week-long Read Across America starting Feb. 26, celebrating Dr. Seuss.
Monday, Feb. 26, will be the kickoff day and the grand finale will take place on Friday, March 2. “The Cat in the Hat” turns 50 this year.
Students, families, staff and Lisbon community members will attend the celebration throughout the week. A number of community members will participate by reading to all kindergarten through sixth-grade students in their classrooms on March 2 in celebration of Dr. Seuss.
