The Trinity Jubilee Center on Bates Street is looking for nonperishable food items.

“We need anything we can get,” said Jubilee event planner Dell Caron Gray. “Veggies, soup, mac and cheese, peanut butter, etc. We just discovered that our USDA food shipment is not coming until May.”

More people have been lining up for the Thursday morning emergency food pantry, Gray said. And food supplies have been low since Christmas.

“We’d like to get some canned goods,” said Jubilee Executive Director Kim Wettlaufer. “We’re just looking to replenish.”

Items may be dropped off here at the Jubilee Center at Spruce and Bates Streets, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to noon, and Sunday between 2 and 6 p.m.
