RUMFORD – Announcement is made of the engagement of Richard Plourde and Jo-Ann Anastasio of Chelsea and Largo, Fla.

Mr. Plourde is the son of the late Willie and Marie Rose Plourde of Eagle Lake. He is currently retired from his self-employment plumbing business.

Ms. Anastasio is the daughter of Elaine Anastasio of Rumford and the late Joseph Anastasio. She is retired after 34 years with the state of Maine.

A Sept. 15 wedding date has been set.
