CANTON – The board of directors of the Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center has appointed a Pastoral Committee to schedule presiders, mediums and healers at its services.

Sunday services are now held at 11 a.m. at the old Canton Fire Station/Municipal Building and are followed by a potluck lunch. All are welcome. Development classes are held at the church from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursdays. Call Shirley at 597-2595 for more information about classes.

Pinpoint of Light is affiliated with the National Spiritualist Association of Churches, and the national convention will be held in Portland in October. This is the first time in more than 50 years that Maine will host the convention, and Pinpoint of Light is participating in the planning and fundraising efforts.

As a special fundraiser, a Friday Evening Message Circle will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 9 at the church. Cost is $10 a person, and everyone will receive a message. For information and to sign up, contact Jackie at 743-7152.
