TURNER – Two well-known culinary notables are joining forces to offer expanded catering and dining options locally.
Theresa Hyatt, a pastry and catering chef, and Gard Briggs, restaurant chef and manager of the Fore Seasons, are combining their skills to offer one-stop catering services on and off premises.
“Basically we now offer full-service catering for events, weddings, meetings … whatever,” Hyatt said.
The service is an extension of the Fore Seasons Restaurant, located at the Turner Highlands Country Club. Hyatt said they can provide everything – from appetizers to entrees, desserts and everything in between – as well as wait staff, bartenders, liquor, linens, china and even the tables and chairs, if needed.
Hyatt will additionally be baking all the restaurant’s desserts and breads. She and Briggs formally teamed up last week, following a successful demonstration at the open house for the new Business Service Center in Lewiston on Jan. 25.
Hyatt was the pastry chef at Austin’s Fine Wines and Foods in Auburn before launching her home-based business, La Cuisine. Briggs was chef at T.J.’s restaurant in Great Falls Plaza before leaving last year to pursue the position at Fore Seasons.
Hyatt said she and Briggs will maintain the high quality of food for which they’re known.
“Everything we do is from scratch, no preservatives, only high-quality ingredients,” she said.
Although the restaurant is located on a golf course, it is open to the public and offers banquet facilities, as well as elegant dining, she said. They are accepting orders for desserts, as well as booking events now.
“By combining our businesses, we are able to offer more to all our customers,” Hyatt said.
For information, or to place orders, Hyatt is available at 212-4310 or at the restaurant, 224-7090.
