WESTBROOK – Reindeer Theatre Company will hold auditions for children ages 8 and up for its production of “The Mayor, Mad Doctor Zing, Pollywogs, and Other Absurd Tales.”

Auditions will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 14 and 15, in the upstairs auditorium at Warren Memorial Library, 479 Main St. No experience is necessary, and there is nothing to prepare.

The show is a collection of short silly stories released in the 1950s. Individual tales include “The Mayor,” “Mad Doctor Zing,” “Pollywogs,” “Your Money Or Your Life,” “No Order In The Court,” “The Blue Serge Suit,” and “Gizzlegump,” all offering opportunities for fun character acting.

The show will open Friday, March 23, and will run for two weekends: at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and at 2 p.m. Sunday.
