Standings remained close in both divisions of the Central Maine Youth Basketball League (Boys Grades 3-4) following weekend action.
Dixfield stayed unbeaten in the Northern Division with a 48-12 win over Monmouth. Tyler Frost led with 16 points. Gavin Arsenault added 10. Ben Bolstridge and Nick Mencie scored 4 each for Monmouth.
Auburn-Lewiston YMCA stayed just a game behind the Dixies with a 42-30 victory over Turner.
Maranacook moved into a tie for first place in the Southern Division with 31-17 triumph over Hall-Dale. Both clubs are now 5-3. Kodey Solmitz sparked the winners with 11 points. Cam Brochu added 8 and Kyle Wilbur 5. Brian Allen tallied 8 for H-D. Wesley Lapointe was next with 4, followed by Nat Crocker with 3.
Taylor Morang netted 7 and Bryson Camp 6 as Winthrop nipped Gardiner 21-20. Sam Weston collected 14 for Gardiner. John Elwell added 2.
