PARIS – The Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation District is selling trees and shrubs. There are more than 100 items to choose from this year – everything from horseradish and asparagus to glads and spirea.
Visit the office for a brochure or call Heidi at 743-5789, ext. 101. Staff will take orders until March 22. Pick-up date will be 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, April, 27, at the Oxford County Fairgrounds.
The district also has rainbow and brook trout on sale for pond. Order forms and stocking permits are available at the office. The last day to order trout is May 11.
The trout will be delivered at the district office at noon Thursday, May 15. Those who purchase fish must have a permit from Augusta with them when they pick up the trout.
