LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Feb. 12 with 41 members present. Jay Elementary School third and fourth-grade students sang patriotic songs in observance of Presidents’ Day prior to the meeting.

Kenny Smith was present with his popcorn machine and the students were given bags of popcorn and juice.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture presided at a brief meeting and reminded members the monthly Chinese auction will be held Monday, Feb. 19. The monthly SeniorsPlus meal will be held Monday, Feb. 26.

The SeniorsPlus Valentine’s Day meal was held on Tuesday, Feb. 13 because of the snowstorm.

The 50-50 was won by Jeannette Buck; a tote bag, donated by Theresa Bilodeau, was won by Lucile Frechette; and a box of chocolates, donated by the club, was won by Blanche Newell.
