WATERVILLE – Joel Allen scored a goal in each period- twice unassisted – to lead Waterville to 3-2 win over visiting Edward Little on Friday.

Allen’s third goal, assisted by Shawn Lee and Harry Pollard, came with 4:09 to play in the third period and snapped a 2-2 tie.

Edward Little (8-9-1) got a pair of power-play goals from Shawn Hird in the loss, and Adam Loudermilk stopped 25 of the 28 shots he faced.

Nolan MacDonnell led the Purple Panthers (13-5) in net with 20 stops on 22 shots.
