CARRABASSETT VALLEY – The Parent Support Organization of Carrabassett Valley Academy will hold its annual big raffle auction from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Sugarloaf Inn.

Highlighting the event will be the drawing for the $10,000 grand prize raffle winner. Only 375 tickets are sold for the drawing, that also includes 30 prizes worth $100 or more.

Silent and live auction items will feature a week’s stay in Los Cabos, Mexico, a Monaco vacation, five nights for two at the Salt Lake City Marriott, and dinner for four at Bullwinkle’s Restaurant.

Carrabassett Valley Academy Parent Support Organization President Sandy Garand said, “Proceeds from this event benefit Carrabassett Valley Academy’s scholarship fund. Each year more than $400,000 in scholarship awards are allocated to 30 percent of CVA’s student-athletes. The goal for this year’s big raffle auction is $45,000.”

Tickets for the auction are available at the Bag, Gepetto’s, Carrabassett Valley Academy Visitor’s Center, Mountainside Real Estate and Carrabassett Valley Academy. For more information, contact Laurie Bisson at 237-2250 or labisson@gocva.com.
